Firefox Plugin

Hello,

I've written a small Firefox Plugin that allows you to Use Synomanager do send a download directly to the NAS when the Download Window appears.
It also detects Rapidshare downloads and adds Username and Password to it.

I wrote it in a few hours and never did a Plugin before, but it seems to work.
Download it at https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/11189 if you want to.
It's the first version, so its still in the Sandbox.
You'll have to register to Download it.

And don't forget to change the settings in the Add-On Window!

It doesn't work if you dont have a Rapidshare Premium account, I will fix that later.

Hi Christian,
I've installed your plugin but it crashed synomanager.
Also a suggestion: would it be possible to add an entry to the popup-menu?

Hmm, this shouldn't happen.
Can you add downloads to Synomanager using the Command line? Something like "C:\Program Files\SynoManager\SynoManagerGUI.exe http://www.test.com/test.htm" should work.
And what do you mean with add an entry to the popup-menu?

Hmm.. command line doesn't seem to work either. It seems my s/manager is more broken than I thought.
My suggestion related to the popup-menu you get when you right click on a link.

First of all cbender: it seems like a cool tool. I generally don't use FireFox (are more of Chrome user myself), but I will certainly give it a try when I'm home.
And if there's any way I can help you, just ask :)

@John_Parsons: are you using the latest version? And is there any error dialog? If so: please post the error message.

I have added a button in the right-click menu.
Now you can download everything you can click on.

Hi Christian
Firstly, the crash issue is now resolved (see the issue I raised on it), and secondly the popup menu item is great.
Definitely the easiest way to D/L to the diskstation!!
